What the offer claims
The seller describes a plug-in OBD2 device and promotes substantial fuel-economy improvement and adaptation to driving habits. These are seller claims, not results verified by Rate and Buy Hub. An OBD connection establishes a physical interface; by itself, it does not prove that a device can safely alter engine behavior or reduce consumption.
The evidence question comes first
Ask for independent, product-specific tests covering identifiable vehicles and a repeatable method. A percentage without the test conditions does not tell you what changed, whether the comparison was fair or whether it applies to your car. EPA operates a program evaluating aftermarket devices; this guide does not claim that SynGas has been approved, certified or tested by EPA.
Compare with a useful baseline
If you evaluate any fuel-saving claim, distinguish gallons consumed from distance traveled and compare similar routes and conditions. Traffic, driving style, load and maintenance can change consumption independently of a gadget. Check vehicle compatibility and consult an appropriate technician before connecting an unfamiliar device. We do not recommend purchase based solely on the savings headline.
Before you order
- Independent test reports for the exact device.
- Compatibility with your vehicle and the manufacturer’s guidance.
- Clear technical documentation, not just an OBD plug.
- Return conditions if the advertised benefit cannot be substantiated.
Also compare the full order total, quantity, shipping charge, delivery estimate and current return policy. Save the offer and order confirmation. A countdown or discount headline should not replace those checks.
Frequently asked questions
Does this site verify the advertised savings?
No. We have not conducted a controlled fuel-consumption test and do not endorse a percentage-saving claim.
Does fitting the port prove compatibility?
No. Physical fit and safe, effective operation are different questions.
Is it EPA-approved?
No EPA approval is claimed here. EPA’s evaluation program is not a blanket endorsement of aftermarket products.
