Wearables, brainwave audio, smart devices — I test the tech so you don't have to

12+ Products Tested

I'll be honest — I'm a bit of a tech nerd. I love gadgets, wearables, and anything that promises to make life easier or more interesting. But I've also wasted a lot of money on overhyped tech that ended up in a drawer after a week.

That's why I started testing electronics and digital products the right way. Wearable health trackers, brainwave audio programs, focus tools, smart devices — I try them all. The question I always ask is: does this actually do something, or is it just an expensive placebo? Sometimes the answer surprises me. Other times, it's exactly what I expected.

In this category, I'm reviewing everything I've tested — from the Hume Band and Pulsetto to digital audio programs like The Genius Wave. I look at ease of use, build quality, whether the claims hold up, and — most importantly — whether I'd actually recommend spending your money on it.

Quick note: I'm not a doctor or a neuroscientist. When it comes to brainwave audio or health wearables, I'm just sharing my personal experience. Always consult a professional if you have specific health concerns.

Also, yes — some of these links are affiliate links. I earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. But I've returned products that didn't work. I've left negative reviews. A commission has never, ever changed my opinion. If a product is junk, I'll tell you.

📋 How I Test Electronics & Digital Products

Here's my honest process: For physical electronics, I use each device for at least 2-3 weeks. I test battery life, ease of setup, build quality, and whether it actually does what it promises. For digital products (audio programs, software, apps), I use them consistently for at least 30 days before forming an opinion. I track what changes — or doesn't. I don't accept free products for reviews (because let's be honest, that biases you). Everything you see here was bought with my own money or tested thoroughly before I wrote about it. If a product is overhyped, I'll tell you. If it surprised me, I'll tell you that too. No sponsored fluff, just real tech testing.
